Proportionate sized watermarks?

I've done some watermarks, and they work pretty well for what they do.
My problem is due to how I crop my various pictures, there can be a considerable variation in the dimensions of the pictures, which results in a wide variation in the relative size of the watermark on the pictures in a given gallery.
My question is - is it possible to have a proportionately sized watermark? Say 10% or 15% of the picture being watermarked, so all pictures in a gallery have the same "size" watermark?
