Mt. Figueroa, shrouded

After enjoying the wildflowers so much last weekend I decided to take my son up to Mt. Figueroa, to a spot that Marc had take us on the Santa Barbara Spring Fling last year. Here are some pics from the trip, roughly edited. Click for EXIF.

Oh, and I also wanted to try out my new 15mm fisheye. :D

The mountain was shrouded in fog.

Poppies only open up in the sun.

The lupines were nice!

Down the hill it got a bit sunnier, and my 15mm fish didn't leave my camera.

(Had to shoot the new car!)

    Cheers,

Thanks! That one came out pretty good. It's tough enough to get a good composition on these things, but then the wind adds another level of challenge. It's like shooting ducks at an arcade sometimes!

I absolutely love the second one. The third one is poetic with the poppy wrapped. The 7th is a fun perspective - cool!

Thanks, Ela. I'm making a 5x7 folded card of that second one for my mom. thumb.gif
