Egrets, Herons, and other hangers-on.
Well this was pretty much my first decent chance to get out and shoot for the year (we had a baby, born on Christmas day!). So I went to my local shooting gallery and got these few. It was early morning and I had some issues with backlit shots initially. I was happy enough with them. C&C welcome.

9. It didn't tolerate me long! The obligatory butt shot.

12. Black swans in the early morning mist on the lake
13. Grebe
14. Purple Moorhen
15. Coot & Duck - Not the sharpest shot, but I liked the action.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I did! Thanks Glenn.

Thanks Stephen! The purple moorhens are striking birds when you get the light on them.
