I've finally been stirred out of my slumber by all the amazing images I see here on this forum.
Kudos to all :clap :clap :clap
I recently took a break from photographing birds and went in search of
wild flowers in Antelope Valley, CA and somehow ended up hiking in the Devil's Punchbowl park
many miles east of my destination.
The following image represent a timeline of some of the views I experienced during the course of that day:

3.
4.
5.
C&C welcome, otherwise enjoy!

I especially like #4 and the perspective used in #1. Looks like a great day out. Thanks for sharing.

The colors in that last one with the J Trees is just unreal.

Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated.
It feels like I caught the landscape fever again
It's indeed a wonderful place to visit. This was my first time visiting but definitely not my last.

Now I can just sit and relax and photograph something that will sit there until I get the shot
Haven't seen you in a while Ben. Where're you hangin' these days?
