Where do pine cones come from?

Little baby pine cones.





I don't shoot macro much but these little things were REALLY cool looking.

60mm Macro, 20% gaffer's tape 20D (beach camera) 2nd one had a hand bounced 430EX flash.

60mm EF-S Macro is my first Macro lens, and it is a really great all around prime, sometimes the only lens I take. Good for little stuff...

I also like it for stuff that needs a nice flat field and corner to corner sharpness....

Good ones - yes they are rather interesting looking things. Rather like the B&W but it seems a bit tight in the frame.

I prefer the B&W in this case--interesting patterns and textures. I agree with you about the EF-S 60mm. I originally thought I might sell mine when I bought a 100mm L, but I can't bear to part with it.
