Eye-Fi and default SmugMug upload category

I have been testing the Eye-Fi Pro X2 card with my SmugMug account and am trying to figure out what category Eye-Fi defaults to when I upload photos. When testing, it adds photos to the "Other" category, but if I remove that category and create another one after I've done the initial upload, the Eye-Fi uploads to the new category. Since you cannot choose the upload category from within Eye-Fi, I am wondering how Eye-Fi makes the determination of where to upload. I did find a workaround which is to create a smart gallery based on keyword and then when I tag the photos using Eye-Fi they will be added to the smart gallery.

Has anyone run into similar issues?
