so please allow me to introduce myself... i am a man of wealth and taste.....:wink
oh, right, sorry....
anyway, im a 'transfer' from dpreview, specifically the STF (i know quite a few of you are from there). ive been suffering from the photography disease for about 18 months now. went from a sony V1 to a sony 828 and now i shoot an XT. i've only had the XT for about 2 months now, and even though i havent had the time to use it that i wish i had, boy am i loving it.
i figured i'd make my first post here in the landscape forum, since those are my favorite subjects.
to start you off, here are some shots of the most amazing sunset i have had the pleasure to witness within recent memory (on the shores of lake erie, on presque isle). exif intact
hope you enjoy

I'll save you the "what took you so long?" speech, for later!
Ed these are fantastic shots! Love the blurring of the water in the first one especially. Superb comps on all of them!
Good to see you post some shots, finally!

Welcome aboard again,
Hopefully you'll stick around this time. I've always enjoyed your shots so I hope you keep them coming.
Now, if California would fall off into the ocean, I might be able to get some beach sunset shots too:D. Wonderful colors and comps.
Thanks for sharing with us again,
Chris

How's the zoo in Erie? I figured I'd hit both.
