Super confused about Google Analytics.

A: what does it do for me?
B: how do I get it to work on my site?

Sorry if this has been covered...couldn't find what I was looking for.

    Google Analytics gives you some statistics about the page views on your Smugmug site. It will show you what is being viewed and how often it's being view.

    You obtain an account and the code from Google. You can read this for how to install it on your Smugmug acount.
