Some shots from the last few days.
Ever wondered where dragonflies go in the early evening?
Now some macros
I've got pollen in my eye
Well I Haven't - it's stuck on my legs- well not much in my eyes.
This hoverfly strayed too close to a "red & White" spider
This shield bug obviously got too close as well- parcelled up ready to go.
Earlier on a male common darter dragonfly posed
Followed shortly after by a female

I was causally enjoying your shots. The shield bug really caught my eye, but then, the male darter just jumped out of the screen for me. The color contrast against the black background is just too much for me. The detail in the dragon as well as the spider threads is. For me, it's a shot above the rest.
Thanks for sharing,
Chris
I like the comments for each photo, quite humorous.
A picture is but words to the eyes.
Comments are always welcome.

Love your shots; the last one has to be my favorite. I see dragonflies once in a while here (Wichita KS), but my crazy dog chases them away. Then again, she chases everything, and if she gets it, she eats it

I liked the shieldbug- looks like a cross between a spaceship and a pterodactyl.
Thanks REDpixel
Yes I have the same problem with our cat- seems to like the large dragonflies, trouble is he brings them in the house and then lets them go
