Photos in multiple galleries

Am I able to copy a photo from one gallery to another and still have it in the original gallery now or is it still whatever you move is now moved and no longer in the original gallery?

If you want a copy in both galleries you need to create a second copy and move the copy. A move removes the photo from the original gallery and places it in the "moved to" gallery.

Have you considered using collections instead? That allows you to reference a photo from multiple galleries but have the photo live in only one place.
