#48 Problem - Please help!

Hi,

I have a problem I never had before with Lightroom.

I took this photo below in jpg format, uploaded to lightroom,
I didn't do any change to it, and uploaded directly from Lightroom,
to SmugMug

(I'm going to crop it locally)

The problem is that looking at the dates, they are not the same...

    lightroom and also bridge have a tendency to do that. I opened my cf card with windows viewer and then moved the file from there to my picture files on my hardrive. It didn't change a thing. Then I uploaded it directly from my hardrive.

    I'm on Mac, but I uploaded the file directly from the original folder to my temporary folder
    in SmugMug, without opening it in Lightroom, or anything else, and it worked!

    - I hope it will work in the same way for the contest gallery bowdown.gif

    Yes Lightroom was the reason for the change to EXIF.

    I'm glad you were able to work around it.

    You could always just go straight from your Camera/Memory Card to Smugmug too. That would also solve the issue!!

    View NX for Nikon will change the date modified when download from card goes through it. I am keeping all pictures on my CF cards until after the challenge. I still put them into ViewNX to evaluate but then upload off card.
