My Self Portrait (c&c Welcome)

I had to take some self portrait shots for my photography class. I was having a photographers block, then I saw a bird cage and thought, self imprisonment or Art being blocked by a barrier.

idea ok......execution leaves a bit to be desired......these are just my 'umble opins........but the mugshot look just doesn't do it for me......for one thing the bars are too small.......now take the birdcage and keep it big and make your face a lot smaller....as if you're a bird......also look forlorn and not straight on......i do not think that hardly ever works.....add some drama with lighting........
