I'm going to try some other effects if I get chance but this is my very first attempt at anything like this :thumb

    oooh I like. Was it plastic wrap on a lens? If another opportunity arises for a sunset shot of this cityscape, you might want to try different materials with coarser appearances too. Nice work!thumb.gif

    I didn't have any vaseline so I used lip balm lol.
    I took a couple more too. 1 on BW and 1 on Tungsten. (I do love playing with Tungsten).

    Holding a lid from a disposable drinking cup on my lens created a vigniette around the image.
    This time taken at around 1:30 in the afternoon. Full sunlight. I really like it thumb.gif

    I prefer my pictures a little sharper and more contrasty than they are coming out of the camera. I haven't been totally happy with my results so far.
    So I altered all of these settings in-camera last night to see what I could get today.
    Much better SOOC results! clap.gif

    (I may go out today to try to find something else to shoot with my cup lid. Really loving that vigniette :D)

    I think I prefer the BW version but the differences between the colour versions are amazing!
