We took a family vacation to Universal Studios in Florida last week. I usually do not shoot buildings but got a shot of Hogwart's Castle - part of the new Harry Potter attraction opening in June. Then I tried to add a little of the Universal Classic Horror Movie feel to it and I like it okay. What do you think?

Despite looking fake, I like the second one better. Besides, the castle looks kinda fake too, due to the architecture. My only recommendation is to maybe go for a dark menacing effect, like an image of storm clouds. Right now, it looks more like a miniature with a backdrop. But, it sounds like you are trying to go for a specific effect (the Universal Classic Horror Movie) and it works in that sense.

I agree that it looks like a miniature. I don't know what the scale is but I know it is not full size.
