How do I rotate an image while not modifying date

I'd like to rotate and image without changing the modification date. Is there any way to do this, or do I have to keep the camera in landscape position the whole time?

I think when you upload to the gallery, smugmug automatically will rotate it. If not I think you can rotated it with the tools options in the gallery without changing the exif. But I am not 100% sure as I never have looked. Its just that if you can crop in the smugmug gallery using tools and not change the exif...then it would make sense that the same thing applies to a rotated image.

Oh, and can I delete an image after I upload it just in case I get a better one? I'd also like to test the rotating.

You need to mark an image you wish to delete with
"Please Delete" in the caption I will eventually go in and clean it up for you.

In regards to rotating it needs to be rotated in Camera as the tools outside of the camera change the EXIF
if your camera changes EXIF when rotating then you can not do it, sorry.

Okay, thanks! I'll see what I can do in camera and then maybe just take pictures in landscape position.
