Argh...noticed I made a typo in the title (which I can't change). Looking for a Nikon MB-D10 (and EN-EL4/EN-EL4A battery if available) for my D300 if anyone wants to part with one.

You might want to take a look at the Zeikos unit. They sell for under $65 on Amazon - fit the D300 really well and work just like the expensive OEM model.
Does that include getting the FPS increase? I see some reviews that say yes, but it's somewhat surprising since you don't get it on the MB-D10 unless you use the EN-EL4/EN-EL4A battery.

You also get the increase if you use AA batteries in the grip. I opted for that because of the cost of the enel4 charger. Ouch!
Yes, the third party one does with AAs.
You do not need the grip to get higher FPS on the D300/700. But you will only get 9 frames in a burst (versus up to 40 with the grip) at the faster frame rate.

If faster fps is all you want a grip for, save yourself the money.
Nice hack. Not sure how he figured that out. I would still recommend a battery pack to any serious shooter shooting sports or wildlife. Cool though

I went with the 8-double A's. I shot an entire kids baseball game (5 innings) and took about 900 shots with most in burst mode. So far, the battery pack battery status hasn't moved off 3 bars.
So, I'm very happy with it so far.
