I know the bride from several years back, she stays with me a lot when she visits the Chicago area, and she has loved my work for a while, so when she finally got engaged last year, she asked me to shoot her wedding, offering to fly me down in addition to my normal costs. How could I say no to that! :D

They're a fun and quirky couple and I love them :) Even got their personality to shine through in a few photos (you'll know what I mean when you see the pics)

What fun and a great compliment to you. Nice shots. The one thing that really shines through to me is how comfortable they are with each other! They truly are themselves. My eyes popped when I got to the shot of her gown being zipped up ( and her bra was peeping out) because it looked like it was being Unzipped and it was after the garter toss!....mwink.gifmwink.gif Then I realized they are not posted in order...... this is how rumors get started lol.
I love the blue lighting in the church. Congrats.thumb.gif

My immediate reaction to this image is that the couple appears at risk of toppling out of the frame. :D

This might have been attributable to champagne, but a glance at the building at the left also reveals a door and three tree trunks on the same serious lean and the base of the building on a steep uphill slope! deal.gif

Unfortunately, the necessary straightening to this image will chop off even more of the bouguet. eek7.gif

Great images, but what is the deal with the scissors? ne_nau.gif

They needed scissors to cut their car out of the wrapping so they could leave... the couple finds that photo hilarious and loves it btw, haha.
