I read this a couple of weeks ago and have been thinking about the "princess" shots since. Feel free to pass the bedtime story on.
I know it's a bit much to read--but I liked it:)

Once upon a time
in a land far away,
a beautiful, independent,
self-assured princess
happened upon a frog as she sat contemplating ecological issues
on the shores of an upolluted pond
in a verdant meadow near the castle.

The frog hopped unto the princess' lap
and said: "Elegant lady, I was once a handome prince,
until an evil witch cast a spell on me.
One kiss from you however,
and I will turn back into a dapper, young prince that I am
and then, my sweet, we can marry
and you can set up housekeeping in your castle
with my mother.
Where you can prepare my meals
Clean my clothes and have my children.

That night,
As the princess dined sumptuously
on lightly sauteed frog legs
with white wine sauce,
she chuckled and thougt to herself--
"I don't think so".

Well it made me chuckle a bit (hope some of you like it).

Whenever I go through my last hundred or so of shots and fail to find one keeper there, I go photograph
my 5 and 6 year-old grandsons. I know I'll come up with a keeper. It's almost impossible not to get a great shot of a kid.

You got a couple of keepers here.

    He had it comingrolleyes1.gif .
Wish I could have persuaded my daughter to eat some frog legs for the shot, but she's a picky eater:)

    Hi Tony,
I know exactly what you mean--I also get my lensbaby out when I am starting to feel that way, it has the same effect for me.

I'm glad the diptych works for you.
