Completed in 1878 with 82 arches, each of which has a 40 ft span. At 3/4 mile long it is the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain.

C&C always appreciated.

#5 Somewhere along the line I messed up the pano but it does show the impressive scale of the viaduct.

I really prefer your pano (besides the obvious issue)
do you dare shoot from the middle of the road?

nice cloud formations that day for surethumb.gif

Thanks for commenting Aaron, I'm going to spend some time trying to fix the pano or I'll have to go back & try again. I wouldn't try shooting from the middle of that road because although its a "country road" (not wide enough for two cars to pass in some places) there is quite a bit of traffic & a 60 mph speed limit (and I don't fancy being a hood ornament :D)
