Hey Alex,
There's a lot of randomness in what gets responses on Dgrin, so don't take it too seriously. Just happens sometimes.
That said, I don't think this series is as interesting as your other train posts. There's not nearly enough rust to qualify as a tetanus shot. You would need to fill the frame and make it almost abstract (and push the saturation) to make the rust junkies happy. Both #2 and #5 have the raw material, but you should have gotten much closer so as to make it unclear what we are seeing. Or you could have shown much more, as you did in your other posts. But these are neither fish nor fowl. It would be like working with a beautiful fashion model and only shooting her forearm.
Good points Richard. That's what I want to hear. I do have those you are referring to, still unprocessed. The place is a boon and shot too many keepers. I do see your point and understand it. Helps me grow. Thanks!
