Your input would be much appreciated.
I was excited for the current theme - the perfect opp to use through-the-viewfinder (TTV) technique that I really like.
#1 - my original as posted in the challenge gallery: fruit salad
#2 inspired by my son's new bucket of Army men - no title yet
I really like that I can see the dust and scratches of the viewfinder in #1 which has been difficult to reproduce in #2 (I think partly because of the sand). But then I really like the nostalgic feel of the subject matter in #2.
Your thoughts are much appreciated. Thank you in advance. :thumb

I don't know how you did this but I'm digging it.
I like both shots--but I like the processed "look" better in number 1.

Numba one is very well done!
#1 for me too, although it is a close call. I really like the dof with the army men.
I just love the vintage feel of these.
Well done.
