Evening all,
Ok here are a few I tried. Please let me know if they work for you.
BTW I used one of the smugmug circular mailing cartons as a tube :) I got that idea from a post in "cool shots" a few months ago. On the SPs I also used a plastic see through shoe box as a filter and the timer (what a pain that was!).

Thanks for looking in advance.

3. Profile (could use a better title)

4.?title (I like the juxtaposition of the ugly recycled cans and the blooming tree and the person sifting through the recycled garbage for cans) felt a little like a sniper taking these shots.

    All really cool!

    #2 made me smile. :D

I think #4 works best. How about Full Metal Jacket for a title?

    Thank you guys!!!
So #4 is looking like the one so far. I was kind of partial to "Despair", but no takers hu?

I like "Full Metal Jacket" although it makes me wish it somehow had crosshairs--I should have done that ahead of time, but didn't think I would end up with this shot.
I was also thinking "Looking Down the Barrel".
I like the "One shot, one kill" too but it's so violent! I like it though, it's different.

    No "Despair"? lol--I"m so pushy.

Thank you for the input guys.

    Cool Images Lizzard!
So funny, when Sean announced this challenge I thought of you immediately - I've taken a liking to your style!

These are all really great - love the grain and the black & white.

I vote for #1, followed by #2. There is something about the simplicity of the composition that really appeals to me - not that I have anything against recycling bins! thumb.gif

Wow!! Great series, Liz. I love them all.

For the challenge, I favor #4. Tells a story without a title + Probably impossible to reshoot + Just about perfect as is = Outstanding.

    Awww thanks Christopher:)

So I have to decide to either go with the weird one I like or go with the majority--the brain says go with the majority (specially since it's about voting once/if you get past the judges) my gut says pick the weird one "Despair" rolleyes1.gif .

I do like #4, specially since it's a street shot and I love that genre too.

I appreciate the input Christopher:D and the very nice words.

    Hi Virginia and thank you.
"tells a story without a title" hmmm where I have I heard that before:D .

another one for #4 ok then. I do still need a title though, I've had some good inputs--all of them having to do with me taking the guy out! Some violent dgrinners here rolleyes1.gif --well I started it.

Or how about Heavy Metal Jacket - my husband's parody of Full Metal Jacket.

A bit warped, especially since it looks like there is no metal in the scene at all. mwink.gif

How about "Mrs. Kravitz" for #4? :D I'm dating myself.

I vote for #4 as well Liz. It's a great capture. #2 looks like it could be called True Blood. mwink.gif You should have worn those fake vampire teeth.
