Herons everywhere
For years now, I've watched you folks post great shots of herons in and around a rookery.
Well, I was pointed in the direction of one a week ago, so now I can post a few also.
The best part about the place is the last two hours of the day give you the best light on it.
Sometimes things just come together.
1) She's there, just way down in the nest.
2) Wimpy.
3) Same.
4) Most open nest of the bunch.
5) Coming in.
6) Oh yeah.
7) Hmmm, where did I leave that nest?
8) Just a bit more.
9) Our Town
10) A shot from the morning when I was trying to find the place.
That's it. (for now)
All shots taken with a Canon 7D with a Canon 300 f2.8is lens with a 2X tc between them.
Thanks for looking.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
