FLASH workarounds?

I am curious if we are going to see HTML5 tools to replace the FLASH componenets of smugmug in the near future? I currently run the slideshow feature on my site, but would like to have an option that works properly for mobile Safari on the Apple iPad.

    So would we - all I can say is stay tuned.

    For now, consider giving an iPhone - iPad friendly link to your visitors, as well. Like http://www.moonriverphotography.com/galleries - that's what I use, to bypass the homepage slideshow.

    I would like to see this too. I currently have flash slideshows embedded on my main site, but i would like to see html5 as an option now that its catching on.

    For a while now, we've been running HTML5 slideshows on HTML5-capable devices (like iPad, for example).. the homepage box slideshow, and the gallery and full screen slideshows.

    Embedded slideshows aren't HTML5 capable yet, but we'll get there.
