Looks to be a shrine set up for mourning the Polish plane crash victims. The three combine for a nice story.

Hi Rainbow,
I was walking around lunch time and found myself out infront of the consulate for the Republic of Poland.

I really wanted to get more of the faces in the crowd, but being that some were there to grieve, it just felt wrong. I switched out from my 25mm to the 40-150mm zoom for the first shot, felt less intrusive.

Good images. As a series, I would reverse 1 and 2 to emphasis transitioning to the consulate sign. Very tragic story.

I didn't realize I was so close to the consulate until I stumbled on it without looking for it. I only got a smidge of the flowers and candles--I could feel the heat radiating from so many candles.

I get what you are saying about the order. I won't change it now because then the previous posters comments won't make sense ie. "#1 works for me", but you have a good point.
