Weird Data in caption area

Hi,

Normally I see my file name in the caption area if i don't otherwise type something in there. For example:

0M2Q2345-baby-photo-shoot

...or something like that. Please see attached for what I am now seeing. What is wrong?

it is happening again, in a different gallery this time. This gallery is actually populating as I type this....please look at the caption area. Where is that coming from?

This is the phrase that is "auto-captioning":

Bob, I'm on a plane now - can't seem to get to your link. I'm sure though, that you put that phrase in your IPTC Description area, which we read as a caption - always have.
