the jaguar at Woodland Park actually offered a photo op on Saturday... shot through glass, so not the clearest image i've ever taken, but it came out okay considering the reflections and the finger- and noseprints all over the glass! :p 40D, 100-400 @ 180mm, 1/250 @ f/8...

Very good Rocky. clap.gif I've taken some zoo shots and know too well how hard it is to shoot through that glass.

thanks, guys... usually this cat is either sleeping under a rock, or out of sight, so i was glad to get a shot of her up and out in the open! :D

clap.gif Well done! Not really knowing much about jaguars, I would have assumed that was a leopard.

Really disappointing. I was hoping to see a 1968 XKE!

I have such a hard time with glass in zoos! It gets so scratched and cloudy and smudged with greasy childrens' noseprints! You did a fantastic job with the jaguar. Predators are usually so lethargic during zoo hours they don't make for very interesting subjects much of the time. rolleyes1.gif
