Hanging Out in the Vineyard

I enjoyed shooting one of my recent assignments for a local paper and wanted to share one of my favorite shots from the session. While walking a vineyard with the owner, I saw the converging lines of the rows and though it could make a good portrait. I know, I wish his glass had more wine in it too, but I try not to add elements to my shots for the newspaper...

Love the shot. The empty glass doesn't bother me. Wish I could have helped him finish it. The shot really draws me in and makes me want to be there.

Very cool. The glass has great definition, and doesn't bother me at all being mostly empty. If it were full, it might feel more like a prop; here is looks more like a captured moment.

Thanks! The glass started out full-ish when we began our walk around the vineyard (right after leaving the tasting room!). Their wine was pretty good and if I lived there, I'd do the same every afternoon to relax...
