Playing around last night with some flowers I bought for the wife. I tried something a little different than my original idea and took things to my dSLR's estreme. Don't know if the following are "lo-fi" enough. Nothing in front of the lens, just pushing the camera.

    Thanks so much for the input! I've changed my entry to #1 and named it Bella's Blooms.


    (Bella is a nickname my wife earned in her college days and these were some flowers for her, so I figured that I might as well.)

    Nice job on #1. What's tough is finding something that fits the theme, and yet is something you'd want to look at irregardless of theme. You did it.
