Have you ever seen a fog bow? From a foggy morning on the Nantucket moors:

    I haven't but that is incredible! I love them maybe more than rainbows. These are fantastic shots. :D

    I have never seen a fog bow but I agree with schmoo that these are great shots. The tire tracks going through the fogbow is my favorite.

    Wow, I guess I never have seen something like that.thumb.gif I really like number 3 though, nice work with the fog and background and that tree is awesome!

    Thanks everyone for the comments.

    When I first saw one of these about a year ago, I was surprised, and told myself it looked like a "fog bow," thinking I was making it up. When I got home, and looked on Wikipedia, I learned it is a real phenomenon.

    It's just like rainbows, only the droplet size is so much smaller with fog (compared to rain), that there is no color is diffracted through them.
