Here are some shots from my latest trip. I'm new to flower photography, so any tips are welcome. There's a lot of color popping out around here!

clap.gif Nice stuff. I'd say your off to a super start. Just keep doing what
your doing and you'll do just fine.

Over time, for me, I have found flowers pictures tricky to walk away with
a good photo. Seems everything comes into play. Watching for backgrounds
with subject. Critical DOF. Focus. Is it interesting and impactful.
What is the right angle and so on. I think taking flowers pictures has seriously helped in
improving my being able to really see anything well at all. Let alone getting
a nice decent picture of that subject thats out in front of me. So I will keep
taking flower pictures not matter how tough I think that task might be.
Like anything... I sometimes get a nice picture or two.

I'd say all of these here are right there for nice. :D
Especially if were talking just out the gate.

Yep. It's hard for me. DOF is the problem, and confusing. Depends on the background. When I get puzzled I shoot at f4, f8, and f16, and throw out the trash.

I didn't show you all the duds... that's a secret I won't reveal. But I can say there were plenty!
