    peace brother! :D

Its a good start. I'm looking forward to what you can manage with the macro (adapter?)lens. thumb.gif If you have a (dedicated) flash, try using that to increase the depth of field and reduce the ISO. Since you're just beginning in macro and (im guessing) do not have all the sweet accessories, try reverse lens macro as well. It can get you pretty good results without an expensive lens.

    good luck!

Thank you very much for all the advice!

Canon EOS Rebel XS 1000D, lens 18-55mm, 55mm focal length,
Exposer time 1/15, f/5.6, shooting mode M, ISO 200, RAW.

I'm attempting to learn Canon camera and Corel PaintShop Photo Pro software. This pic is still too noisy but I thought I should show that I'm still working on projects.
It's hard to come up with some cheap long tubes... :( Can you tell me about reverse lens macros please?

The use of a simple reverse adapter allows you to mount a normal lens backward on your camera, thereby allowing it to focus much more closely than normal and effectively use it as a macro lens. You won't have autofocus or autometering, but it is a great, inexpensive way to get started with macro. Since most manufacturers' 50mm lenses are some of the sharpest made, you will probably find the results superior to using a screw-on type macro adapter.
