This here challenge is definitely pushing everyone's imagination towards and over the border, so I jumped that fence by portraying the infamous Aurora Borealis within the confines of my bedroom. In order to capture these images, I utilized a Lens Baby with a custom aperture disc in the shape of a 'star', a set of Christmas lights (in white/clear color) and a very bright green-laser-pointer mated to a plastic key-chain that diffused the laser beam; then I simply painted with light and voila, "Pseudo-Aurora Borealis"!

As stated in the rules, these images are NWA style, 'straight out of compton-camera', which made it even more complicated. I have too many to choose from but I decided on the top 3, which of the 3 do you guys/gals like most? I know its difficult to choose b/c they all look the same, thus your inputs are most appreciated.
Here's a shot to commemorate SmugMug, this was actually easier to paint than the previous shots...:rofl

The Dgrin one or the Aurora ones..#3?
I'm liking the smuggie best. It adds a little extra to your neat idea!
Of the first three, I like #3. Not sure why, but I think it is the balance of the pattern of the stars.

I vote for #1 - seems most balanced to me.
