Some more results from playing earlier this week.
I recognize that there are already some outstanding cat and child pictures entered (as I am sure for all of us, I had shot them before seeing the ones taken by others), so am thinking that I might do better with something different. Having a hard time deciding, though.
Any thoughts and advice welcome.
1. Birch Trees (1)
2. Birch Trees (2)
3. Drive By
4. Cat (1)
5. Cat (2)
6 The favorite from my first post
Thanks for looking.

I think your original series with Miss Em seems more lo-fi to me.

Kate, I too prefer the first of the Birch trees. I'm actually quite pleased with it apart from the challenge.
TlVolDra, I agree as between the two the cat pictures. Her paws are what makes that one for me.
Christropher, I'm going to start a thread on the question of what constitutes lo-fi. I have been struggling with the question myself and I know others have as well.
Kolibri, thanks a lot for your thoughtful comments. The cat is one of three in my daughter's household. Those three are all much more cooperative than my own. The hardest to photograph, though, is my granddaughter, who has all sorts of ways to be facing away from me (or coming at me at high speed) whenever I lift the camera - and she's been like that since she started crawling.
