Slow upload?

For the past 36 hours or so any time I attempt to upload to smugmug my upload speed slows down to about 64kbs or slower, sometimes just saying "idle".

Do not know if it matters or not but it happens on both internet browsers on my computer (firefox and safari).

    Lots of things at play here.
    - wired or wireless?
    - what does http://smugmug.speedtest.net say?

    the speed of uploading is entirely dependent upon your good connection to SmugMug - we don't regulate or throttle things.
