This is actually being sold by my good friend, so if you're interested PM me and I'll get you in contact with him, he's very reliable. Will ship from California. The lens is in like new condition.

Looking for $200 OBO. Price does not include shipping.

    Shima...

In terms of weight, what would you compare this to?....

    17-55 F2.8IS....50mm F1.4?

Just curious. Im trying to convince a fellow grinner to take the plunge on a 70-200 F2.8IS and get one of these as a lightweight walk around to replace her 70-200 F4.

She shoots swim meets (some indoors) and portraits, and isn't impressed with the 85 F1.8 at wide open apertures, and her 70-200 F4 may not be bright enough for the indoor meets....but she likes it's light weight.

    any thoughts...opiminon?ne_nau.gif

...and thats a great price on this lens!mwink.gif

Guys/gals buy from Shima with confidence!!!

NOTE: this is actually being sold by my friend, not me, but yes buy from him through me with confidence!

This lens weighs 15.4 ounces... which if you compare to the 70-200 that weighs like 4 lbs. The 17-55 weights 22 ounces and the 50 1.4 weighs 10.2 ounces. So that should give you some perspective in regards to weight.
