Just got my 100 mm IS and started playing with it. I know this is not great, but it's what I got.

I was shooting an early Prickly Pear bloom when all of a sudden this africanized bee landed.

CONGRATS ON NEW LENS

a good start, composition ok, slightly back focused .
now you know how hard it is getting focus exactly were you need it on the head/eyes with a moving bee!
