Went back & re-tried the lo-fi filter shot with a shallower dof to create more of a vignette look & tried a couple of other things.
C&C please - do any of these work as images & for the challenge.

(just an, aside, i've taken pictures with my point and shoot through my polarized sunglasses in a pinch when i've wished for my circular polarizer).

Unfortunately I couldn't get to it until after the deadline with dgrin offline.
Ended-up tossing a coin between #1 & #3 (#1 won - best of 5) just shows what you have to do if you can't get feedback in time.
