EZPrints shipping slowing down?

A customer of mine placed an order on Monday April 5th for one 8x10" and a few 5x7" prints. Nothing extraordinary. I reviewed the order and submitted it to the lab on the same day. According to the Smugmug order status page, the order shipped on Friday April 9. According to the USPS tracking, it didn't ship until Monday April 12. I believe that, because it didn't arrive until the 15th, which is when it would arrive via USPS Priority if it was shipped on the 12th.

This concerns me as I have little league baseball coming up, and I am advertising improved delivery times. (last year I had to fulfill packages myself) Smugmug advertises shipping time of 1-2 days after order placement. I consider a full week to be too long to process a simple print order, and unacceptable if 1-2 days is supposed to be normal. Can we crack the whip on EZPrints, or do I need to adjust my customers' expectations?

    No, not slowing down. There was a real busy time around the Easter holiday that caused a slowdown. But things are back to normal, and the lab has assured us that they've taken steps to prevent this in the future.

    Glad to hear the problem has been resolved. I too, am waiting on a photo order from EZ Prints that I think is overdue.
