The Mountain says - spring? what's spring?

Hiked Mt. Cardigan today, it's like 3100 feet and some change and isn't hard, but it was very wet and sloppy in the trails. When we hit the treeline things changed. Little did we know that Old Man Winter was still bellied up to the bar, waiting for last call. Pardon the spot of vignetting in the second one, I forget the filter does that.





Had to take my hat off and clip it to my pack it was so windy and of course my gloves were safely in the car. Bah!

Thanks Tom. It was hard to tell at the time if any would turn out well, the changing light was difficult to deal with. Ah, Mother Nature.
