They Grow Up So Fast

While I was intending to shoot the stairs in a different way and I was waiting for the traffic to clear, I quickly set my camera and grabbed the shot as I saw this kid run past me and up the steps. I'm thankful that he did because he totally made the shot!

Yes, indeed a magical capture!!! LOVE the light. This is poster worthy and deserves mega wallspace Congrats on the well deserved win! Love how he chose to run up one of the sides even with the whole stairway open. That comp really made the shot (that, and your eye to see it!)

You know, I had a hard time writing about what the image meant to me when I originally put the post up on my blog for this image. Someone else also shared their thoughts with me about this image and it inspired me to write more about what I feel about it... I added those thoughts to an edit of the original post.
