I'm kind of leaning torwards the first two, but comments are welcome.

I like the colored one the best. The dried clay and the sand really give it a great dry feel.

I like the 2nd pic also, if you could have captured a tumble weed rolling through the shot it would have been even better. But it is still a great shotthumb.gif

I definitely prefer the color version. I think a tighter crop more in focus would look great.

All great shots, I like the tumbleweed scene the best for challenge. # 1 is great but its hard for me to tell its dry ground, thats why #2 works better for me. Just my 2c.

    Aero,
The tumbleweed is best of the bunch, but I'd like to see it in colour. I envisage it with a deep blue sky and yellow sand.

I like the way the third shows that there has been water there once.

I really like the colored version, I say frame it and hang it on the wall.

Ah, the Mojave is a great location for a dry challenge. I've spent many days traipsing though the Mojave before the parks and people. I could wallpaper the house with all the topo maps I have of the area. I digress with wonderful memories.

My personal favorite for a dry challenge is the Dry River in B&W. Definitely dry:D.

Thanks for sharing some wonderful shots,
    Chris
