    What I'd give to get a crack at this.. and Iceland is barely 1,000 miles away. Damn ash clouds :(

    Wow. Those are fabulous shots.

    Not sure if I'd be willing to get that close to a volcano to get the shots, but if I were there when it happened, I'd certainly have my camera snapping constantly.

    I particularly love the shots that catch the lightning from the ash cloud.
    What I said when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time: "The wide ain't wide enough and the zoom don't zoom enough!"
