High School Baseball
I shot these with the 70-200mm and 1.4x extender. Would really love to get a longer lens.
Another victory for my old school. They are on a roll this season.
1) Safe at Home!
2) Staring down the runner
3) Ground ball to third
4) Out in center field
5) The coach wasn't happy that one of his pitchers was diving head first into first base, but it was a nice hustle play and he was safe.
6) Running Home
7) Taking care of the last batter
Thanks for Looking,
Andy

Nice looking shots. Some could use some tighter cropping I think.
In the last one, it appears you forgot to adjust your white balance after the lights came on. It's also (understandably) noisy, so it might benefit from some de-noise post-procesing.

Wade,
I know what you mean about the crops but I try to get the to a standard either 4x6 or 5x7 with enough room to go the other way too.
You are absolutely right about the white balance on the last one. I had a tough time getting it right. I think there was some smoke in the background from some burning down the road and the darkness - well I guess I got confused. Anyway I adjusted it a little and reduced the noise a little. It still not great but it may have helped.
Here is a comparison between first attempt and revised version. Do you think it helped?
Thanks again,
Andy
