I was able to borrow a friends handheld projector to take some really cool shots at her house. The projector is so small that I can hold it in one hand and keep my Canon DSLR in the other. I shoot the 2D projection onto (or through) 3D objects to give it a really cool effect. The projector I am using is called the "P2" and is made by Aaxa Tech. http://www.aaxatech.com/products/p2_pico_projector.htm It was a lot of fun to play with. Thanks Sarah!
This is a branch that was flattened and put into a frame in her bathroom. I angled the projection to make it look like the tree is growing on the side of the street.
I projected this image through a plant she has on the floor in her bedroom. It really brings out the greens in the grass and gives it that 3D look.
