#49 what is it?

I took some macros today after I dusted off my macro extension tubes. Here are a few...feel free to tell me what you think and which one you like best!

#2 is a beauty - my favorite of the bunch! Beautiful texture - love the lines - very nicely composed.

My only guess would be that #3 is some sort of melon - honeydew?

I like the textures and lines in #2, but #4 is my favorite, more because it leaves me more interested and guessing as to what it's a pictures of. I almost think something insect related?

really? No clues? Ok...here is what I would name the first one...."Age Spots", two would be "My Gosh I need to DUST!", three is "NOT a Melon, but fruity delicious", and four would be "Vegetable".

I like 2...don't know what it is. 1 banana? 3 almonds in an icee? 4 pussy willow?

Like the textures of #2.

I like the texture of the hair in #4. I like #1 better after knowing that its a banana (right?).

In general, I'd say these could be more compelling with stronger composition.

Yes! #1 is a banana and #4 is a pussy willow. Here is another version of the pussywillow but I feel it gives too much away...even if it did come out cool.

But I feel that none of these are like WOW! So I am going to continue to play this week and see if I can come up with something stronger I guess.

#2 is a ceramic tile of sorts...this is part of the raised butterfly wing that is one it.
#3 is an apple slice that still had the seeds in it. I squirted lemon juice on it so it wouldn't brown so quickly.

Thanks for looking. If I don't find something else I will most likely enter #2.
