What type of external hard drive?

Which would have better performance s 7,200RPM USB 2.0 or 5,400RPM eSATA?

I basically keep my main drive for just programs so this will have all my photos/photoshop files.

    According to Wikipedia, "some single (eSATA) disks can transfer 131 MB/s during real use, about four times the maximum transfer rate of USB 2.0" (which I believe is capable of up to 480 Mbit/s). deal.gif

    I don't think the comparative rotational speeds of the drives will be a factor, but no doubt an expert can do the maths and elaborate/corroborate my intuition that's it's no contest. ne_nau.gif
