I found a few things around the house to shoot today. Do any of them work? Am I going in the right direction?

Thanks for the C&C,
Chris

    funny-
1-4 are nearly identical to some of the things I had 'laying around the house' that I tried a few shots on. I like the blue lighting in #4. Could you try focus stacking with that one? The unlight sections on 1 and 2 bother me.

I posted this in another thread before-

(nothing I did came close.... yet. I have hopes)

shots 3 and 4 are awesome, especially the blue in 4. 1 and 2 are a little flat to me, and the composure isn't that interesting. 5 I think doesn't have enough DOF to really get any idea of what it is.

    Thanks everyone for your comments.

Given your suggestions, I learned how to focus stack...a new maneuver in PS for me. Thanks for the nudge.

However, the focus stacked version of #4 looked flat. (I guess I have a ways to go to perfect my technique!) I'll keep trying.

    Thanks for your help.

    They are all very nice!

I guess #4 will work best for the challenge. ... and if you will improve it, even better :D

Once again, the odd ball out votes for something completely different: #5. I do have this thing for a ridiculously narrow DOF, but I like how the colors turn into dots as the recede into the background.
