This little guy likes to see what's left on the bbq grill.

Everything was against me here. Strong backlighting; low ambient light on the verandah; rather dirty kitchen window (a-focus kept picking up watermarks on window); high ISO; Canon 75-300mm (@300mm); plus he/she wouldn't stand still...

(I did cheat a bit and added a catchlight :D)

That backlight makes for some tough shooting conditions. Not too blown
out tho. Fill flash works nicely in these situations.

Thanks Ian. I would loved to have been able to use the flash. Unfortunately, as I was taking the pic thru the window, the reflection would have killed the shot.

    Hey Alan,

Excellent pic for the really lousy shooting conditions you had. It handled it extremely well. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. Now that I know he likes the bb grill, I'll try putting something out to try and attract him into better light.
