Damselfly suprise

Found this fairly recently hatched large red damselfly sitting on the pipe work insulation coming from my main pond water filter pump. The pump sits in the second of two small external tanks (central heating expansion tanks) which are gravity fed from the pond. The pump pumps the water into the main biological filter tanks which is a large cold water storage tank before it returns by gravity to the pond.
First 5 shots natural light/fill flash, last 2 full flash.

Thanks for the kind comments everybody - this was the first one of the year I'd managed to photograph so I admit to getting a bit excited seeing it . It takes quite a few days after hatching for them to fully colour up.
